A young married couple
move into a house.
It suddenly becomes a home.
But then they break up
and the home reverts
to being merely a house.
It remains a house
all through the divorce proceedings
until it’s sold off,
a new family takes residence,
and it becomes a home again.
In most instances,
a house is a home
but often a very confused one.
