By Mark Llano
Incite those eyes and behold,
Time calls to venture these silken lines,
Sparingly convening at each ductless edge,
Woven by the empress herself.
Creep along slowly yet indisputably,
Across the beginning of time’s devious paths,
Your fragileness is a threat,
A hindrance to the corded test.
Clench onto the threads of fate,
Beaded with viscous spheres of white,
Intertwining every route to take.
Step along your chosen path,
Surely a strong one will do.
When danger comes and finds your track
Don’t run to and fro in varying circles,
Groan brutally in form or falter,
Climb your way out and
Spin yourself a new destiny.
